The family of Sahar Daftary, 23, have revealed that she lost her baby two months after she wed businessman Rashid Jamil. They say she had found out that Jamil was already married under Muslim law and living with marketing executive Narhisa Amjad, 29, the mother of his two children.

Telegraph - The model who fell to her death from a block of flats claimed to have been the victim of a sexual assault seven months ago. Sahar Daftary made the complaint to police in May 2008, but then refused to co-operate with officers and the case was dropped.

Times - A model who was once crowned the Face of Asia has plunged to her death from a block of flats in Greater Manchester after splitting up with her boyfriend. Sahar Daftary, 23, from London, fell about 150ft from the 12th storey of the NV Buildings on Salford Quays.
