Aprons and Bacon Jam ... A Fine Combination!

Some fun ideas for the holidays!   You can look good (and stylish) and eat well (and stylish) too!

First the looking good ....Fashionable  and Sweet!  Remember the old-fashioned aprons of yester year?  They are back stronger than ever.  And they are not your grandma's apron.  Check out our selection of  Retro & Vintage Inspired Aprons  for the Haute` Hostess and sexy cook! Make memories in the kitchen .... your friends and family will remember you cooking, rolling out dough and wiping your hands while you prepare their  food, They not only serve a useful purpose, but they are sexy as well.  Make great gifts too!

Next, "GET YOUR BACON ON!"  A great gourmet condiment called Skillet Bacon Jam has hit the market?  It's fantastic ... !  Just ask Martha Stewart and all of the customers of Skillet Street Food who have heard of it!  If you love bacon, you'll love this addicting jam!   Simply put (because they cook it (you don't)) it's a bacon spread condiment made from niman ranch bacon cooked down along with onions, balsamic and other spices which has been cooked down into a blend of smoky, tangy, savory and slightly sweet spreadable bacon jam! USDA approved (of course.)  Put it on your burger, BLT, perhaps on a grilled cheese, or egg sandwich, maybe as the base for a vinaigrette 3 years ago by a  company called Skillet Street Food which was/is  chef driven food, out of an airstream trailer. One of  their signature items is their burger, made of grass fed beef, arugula, brioche, cambozola cheese and Bacon Jam.  The customers went crazy and started asking us if they sold it.  It's perfect.  So guess what ... they do now.  You get the great bacon taste (plus some) ... no muss, no mess, no messy counter or skillet to clean .. no grease.
Local folks, you can follow Skillet Street Food online via Twitter to find out where they are going to be next. I'm telling you this so you can snag your own jar of Skillet Bacon Jam in person! Or, you can order online - a 11 ounce jar runs $13 (plus shipping).  Shoot them an email: mailto:eat@skilletstreetfood.com.com if you have any questions.
