Can you "Ear" Me Now? Keep Your Ears From Sticking Out

The staff at the Wellcome Library in London have scoured the shelves for the weirdest and most wonderful objects in their collection, the ones that made even them scratch their heads when they first set eyes on them. And this is definitely one of them.

I have to laugh.  Anybody remember (especially if you were a girl), your parents taping your ears back if they stuck out.  Mine did.  (I also had the little bowl hair cut ... ugh)  And, I have to say,  my ears don't stick out (lol)... but I definitely would have put up a fight with this Ear cap for correcting and preventing "outstanding" ears, (UK, early 20th century.)

Ya hear what I'm saying?????
